Chickens are good to have
We have chickens again! After our flock was wiped out by Marek's disease last year we bought a better coop, built an enclosed run, and made sure everything was as clean as we can get outdoor areas to be.
These chickens have all been vaccinated against Marek's so we don't have to go through that nightmare again. They hatched in February and spent their first few months in a pen inside to give them a good start and get them good and socialized with people so we can enjoy the wonders of shoulder chickens.
It may be difficult to tell but I have my mouth closed to keep them from trying to peck my teeth and they need to learn not to peck at eyes and earrings...
